Go to edit profile and select the code you want to delete and right click and delete it.

highlight it by clicking over the letter with your mouse.
then hit backspace or delete on your keyboard.

if codes are visible when you view your page, then you've got something scrambled somewhere. sometimes, if you're not experience with html coding, you may want to delete all your entries and start over. you can cut and paste all your own stuff, like "about me," movies, books, and such to microsoft word or wordpad and then copy and paste it back when you've fixed your profile. if you've added any code from generators for customizing comments, graphics, or the like, look for any places where you have a "%26lt;" but not a "%26gt;" or vice versa. this can take a while. you may want to go back and get the codes again.
